Fun days for everyone this summer on the green at Oakleaze and the first play park at Park Farm.
Please can I encourage anyone coming from outside these areas to walk to these events as there is not parking available for visitors on site other than for residents. Thank you!
Everyone is welcome to join us whether you are young or just young at heart! Some of the activities are aimed more towards children but there is plenty for adults to enjoy also so don’t miss out if you don’t have children to bring along!
Each activity will run multiple times throughout the afternoon so that you can have ago at a number of things. Each session will last approx 30 mins as well as other activities that will be available throughout the afternoon.
Further details on expected activities:
- Dance workshop with a professional dance teacher
- Bush craft with a qualified bush craft leader
- Crafts for children & adults
- Sports to include football, wide games and the like
- Face painting, nail art, balloon modelling, temporary tattoos
- Pre schoolers pop up play area
- Story telling tent – hear some of the stories about the life of Jesus
All activities are subject to change depending on team availability but we will do our best to ensure the above!
Children under the age of 10 need to be accompanied by an adult to join in with any of the activities.
All children remain the responsibility of their adult care givers at all times during the fun day.
All our team are safely recruited and DBS checked.
In the event of bad weather the event will be moved to the Thornbury Baptist Church centre and will continue at the same times although some activities may have to be adapted.
We encourage people to walk to the event please as there is not parking available. We don’t want to upset the local residents! Rock street car park is also only a short walk for the Oakleaze Green fun day if you need to drive.
