Frontline Mission
Imagine what it might look like if every Christian understood that wherever they were, they were on a mission field, called there to be an ambassador for Jesus. In the office, or the classroom; with friends, or with family; on the building site, at the allotment; doing craft, or walking the dog “…whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.” (Colossians 3:17).
We love to hear and share stories of TBC members encountering and serving God in everyday life. It’s the ‘bread and butter’ of our church’s mission.
Where do you spend significant amounts of time with people who are not yet Christian? That is your frontline! We want to encourage you to make Jesus known there. From time to time we run the ‘Fruitfulness on the Frontline’ course which helps to understand what faithful frontline life might look like. If you’re new to TBC look out for the next time the course runs and sign up!
Nationally, the vision for faithful Frontline life is being resourced by LICC (the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity). You can find a couple of their short videos about the importance of our frontlines here:
